Some useful notes on Pearl

This is Pearl.

Pearl is a Jumi. Long ago, they were hunted for their cores, which were cut from their bodies and sold in a shop in Geo. That was bad, because a Jumi's core is essentially his heart. He...can't really do that "living" thing without it.

Jumi share life with one another through tears. In Jumi partnerships, a knight fights for/protects his guardian, and the guardian cries for the knight. After the cores thefts got really high, however, they stopped crying. They couldn't afford to bleed out their own lives. Then they retreated to Etansel, their city.

To this day, there are legends about the Jumi.
-Jumi cannot cry.
-Anyone who cries for a Jumi will turn to stone.
-When a Jumi cries, the sky cries with it.
-A Jumi core brings nothing but misfortune.

THE point of interest: that pearl in her chest. It is much more obvious than this picture makes it out to be. Call attention to it; it'll make her feel very uncomfortable.

After some discussion with Jean, I am forced to conclude that everyone (EVERYONE) in Legend of Mana is diminutive. Based on their pictures, Pearl and all the other characters simply can't be more than four feet tall. So...yeah.

Also note the very impractical and overly detailed manner of dress.
